Accommodations:

The 200 year old farmhouse has been enlarged and modernized without losing its charm and character. Currently there are two guest rooms available, both with private baths. These rooms are upstairs and are not handicap-accessible. The dining and sitting rooms are downstairs with back-to-back fireplaces. Guests have their own entrance to the house and can come and go at their leisure. During the warm weather there is a screened-in porch and and a glass enclosed porch to sit and relax. Smoking is absolutely forbidden in any of the buildings nor is alcohol allowed on the premises. The west bedroom is a large room with a private bath attached. Both a queen size bed and a single bed are in the room. The east bedroom is a mid-size bedroom also with a private bath attached. A double bed and single bed are in the room.

Room Rates:

Prices include a hearty Vermont breakfast.

Off Season:

Off season rates are $90 for a single night stay, or $85 a night for multiple nights. For more than two people in a room, there is an additional $15 charge for each additional person.

Peak Season:

Peak season is the month of March—sugaring season—and the first two weeks of October. Peak season rates are $100 for a single night stay, or $95 a night for multiple nights. For more than two people in a room, there is an additional $15 charge for each additional person.

From Middlebury, VT, take Route 7 south approximately 9 miles. Turn left on Maple Street at Pioneer Auto. Go 0.2 miles then turn right on Shackett road. Mt. Pleasant Sugarworks is the first driveway on the left.

From Brandon, VT, take Route 7 north approximately 7 miles. Turn right at Pioneer Auto. Go 0.2 miles then turn right on Shackett road. Mt. Pleasant Sugarworks is the first driveway on the left.
